The Jeep story starts with the Bantam car company which built a couple of thousand light four wheel drives for the US army before world war two.They were called "General Purpose" or GP which soon became Jeep. So from 1941 to this date, Jeep has represented the outdoors world and synonymous of quality and durability. The Jeep brand has evolved from cars to many different products all with the quality and durability that has always represented Jeep.
